Your Questions, Answered

  • The biggest difference is time. In a traditional setting, providers often see 20+ patients a day. At Camina, we intentionally limit our member base so that your visits are never rushed, your messages are answered promptly, and you are treated as a whole person rather than a symptom.

  • The Essentials Membership is focused primarily on women’s health and gynecologic care. The Premier Membership offers select primary care support; however, we generally recommend maintaining a relationship with a traditional PCP or specialist for major emergencies or surgical needs.

  • No, Camina Wellness is a self-pay, membership-based practice. This allows us to offer extended visits and 1-on-1 communication that insurance codes simply don't cover. We can, however, provide you with a "superbill" that you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Members have access to a secure portal for non-emergency questions, prescription refills, or quick clarifications. You’ll hear back from your clinician during business hours, ensuring your care continues between scheduled visits.
